Basil Classic Italian
Your favourite culinary herb that is perfect for any salads and pasta sauces and combines smoothly with tomato exudes a strong yet aromatic scent.
For indoors, you may use trays or spots. April is the best time to plant basil. Propagate the seeds in trays or small pots filled up with soilless compost. Leave them at 25° C to let the germination process take place. For best results, you should cover the trays with glass. Once the plants are large enough to handle, you may transfer them into small pots and leave them at 20°C.
If you plan to plant the seeds outside, you may do so after mid-June. It is necessary to plant the seeds in rich soil. During midday when it’s hot, it is advisable to water the plants to let the soil dry right before the evening. Please note that planting the seeds outside is not recommended in the North.
