Deep-ribbed galvanised panels

Ribbed steel adds strength and shrugs off rust for a shed that lasts.

Built-in air vents

Vents keep air moving so the inside stays cool and dry, even for damp tools.

Wood-effect finish

A woodgrain texture gives it timber styling with none of the upkeep.

Sliding doors, no swing space

Lockable sliding double doors open wide without needing clearance out front.

Windowless for security

No windows and no glass means your kit stays private and hard to get at.

FAQs

Do I need the foundation kit, and what base does it need?

The shed needs a firm, level base laid before assembly — paving slabs, a concrete pad or a level timber floor all work. There's no floor included as standard, but you can add the optional steel foundation kit (£79): it gives you a perimeter frame to build on and anchor to, though it still needs a flat, solid surface beneath it. A level base keeps the shed square, the sliding doors running true and water out.

Does it need any maintenance?

Almost none. Being galvanised steel rather than timber, there's nothing to rot and no need to treat, stain or paint it each year — the finish resists rust and corrosion, so an occasional wipe-down is all it takes to keep it looking smart.

How is it ventilated?

It has built-in air vents that let air move through the shed, keeping the inside cool and helping prevent condensation and damp — handy if you're putting tools away that are still a bit wet.

Will I need planning permission?

Very unlikely for a shed this small — a 6×4 normally falls well within permitted development, provided it isn't for permanent residential use, doesn't cover more than half your garden and isn't forward of the front of your house. Rules can vary locally, so check with your council if you're unsure.
