The main door opening is 252cm wide and 205cm high (about 8ft 3in by 6ft 9in) on every size, so the deciding factors are your vehicle's width and, in particular, its height. That 205cm opening comfortably clears most cars, estates and family SUVs, but taller vehicles — high-roof vans, campervans or 4x4s with roof bars or boxes — may be too tall to drive in, so measure yours first. Width is rarely an issue: at 12ft, the garage takes a single vehicle with room to open the doors and move around it (it's a one-car-wide garage, not a two-car one). Length is what changes between models, so match the depth to your vehicle: the 12×20 suits most family cars, hatchbacks and saloons; the 12×26 gives room for a larger 4x4 or a car plus a workbench; and the 12×32 and 12×38 take longer vehicles or a car with a proper workshop or storage area behind it.
