Our buildings are designed to be built on a flat, solid, level base. Many customers opt for a concrete or paving slab base as a starting point, but this building does include a steel foundation kit to provide a solid base for your shed and increase its structural stability.
Will I need planning permission for this building?
If the building is shorter than 2.5m tall you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or to be put in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before ordering from us.
How long does it take to assemble this building?
We do not offer an installation service on any of our buildings, our buildings are designed & manufactured to be easy and simple to assemble. Using the assembly instruction included and with a team of just 2 people and a bit of DIY knowledge you can expect to have your BillyOh building up within a day, or as little as 3-4 hours with some of our smaller buildings.
What tools do I need to assemble my building?
Our buildings have been designed to be built with common DIY tools, such as a Drill, Screwdriver, and a Hammer being the key tools needed to assemble. A Ladder comes in handy for taller buildings and a Spirit Level and Tape Measure are good ways to make sure your building is level and neatly built.
