It's a hard-working storage and workshop shed — somewhere to keep mowers, bikes, tools and garden kit securely, or to set up a workbench. The log build makes it sturdier and more weatherproof than a standard panel shed, and being windowless keeps the contents private.
The Pro Pent is windowless on purpose. With no glazing to see through, whatever you store inside stays out of sight — better for security and privacy than a shed with windows — and the solid walls give you more usable wall space inside.
Yes — that's one of the advantages of log construction. The thick, solid log walls take the weight of shelving, racking, hooks and tools far better than the thin cladding of a typical panel shed, so you can kit it out as a proper workshop or store, with mountings anywhere along the length.
Due to the expectation that the timber will undergo natural movement, expansion and contraction, especially during its first year, we would recommend against fixtures which fix multiple logs together, as this may cause damage.
Yes — like any garden building it needs a firm, level base, such as paving or a concrete pad. What you don't have to do any additional raising it off the ground: floor bearers are included, and they lift the floor clear of the surface once the shed is standing on your base.
The walls are built from interlocking log boards: each board slots into the next along its tongue-and-groove edges, and the corners lock together with a criss-cross joint — the traditional log-cabin build that gives the shed its strength and weather resistance.
Yes — the reversible design lets you build it with the door on whichever side suits your garden and how you'll get things in and out.
Standard timber needs a coat of paint or treatment after the build, topped up with a fresh coat annually (a requirement of the guarantee). The optional pressure-treatment upgrade drives preservative into the wood for a 15-year anti-rot guarantee and less upkeep — handy for a hard-working store you'll keep for years; it adds roughly 2–4 weeks to the manufacturing time.
In most cases, no — a garden shed like the Pro Pent normally falls under permitted development, provided it's single-storey, to the rear of the house, within the height limits (lower near a boundary), covers no more than half the garden and isn't used as living or sleeping accommodation. Check with your local planning authority before you buy if you're unsure.

Being windowless is a feature, not a shortcoming: with nothing to see through, everything you keep inside stays private and out of sight, which is reassuring for tools, bikes and equipment.
