The Switch Apex is a wooden greenhouse with the modern features to take your growing to the next level. Carefully designed to culture great growth while staying strong against the elements, the Switch Greenhouse checks all the boxes.
The interior Switch is surrounded by an exterior wall of floor-to-ceiling styrene glazing panels. These panels provide all-around sunlight exposure, meaning no matter where it is in your garden - and no matter where the sun is in the sky - the greenhouse will be getting light (as long as there’s nothing in the way!). The Styrene also provides a level of insulation, keeping your plants cosy during cool nights.
The Apex roof of the Switch not only creates an endearing, classic silhouette, it also comes equipped with useful features to assist your growing efforts. The channelled polycarbonate glazing provides ideal levels of light exposure, enough for growth but not too much to do harm. Meanwhile the opening roof vents let you naturally circulate air through the interior.
No matter the scale of your growing project, the Switch can match it. A range of five sizes are available to pick from, meaning you’ll get a greenhouse that suits your requirements. Finding the right room to grow isn’t just easy, it can be built-in too with our additional planting tables!
Strength is a given with the thick tongue and groove cladding and extra-thick framing that provides the shell of the greenhouse. As this greenhouse is designed to be shorter than 2.5m you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or will be placed in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before purchasing a garden building from us.
We do not offer an installation service on any of our buildings, as they are designed to be easy and simple to assemble. Using the digital assembly instructions included in your order confirmation and with a team of at least 2 people, the handy pre-assembled panels mean you will have your BillyOh building up in no time!
Our Switch models, and this Switch Greenhouse are delivered in easy-to-assemble modular panels. For your convenience, the panels are no wider than 4ft so they can be easily maneuverable and fit through a standard doorway. Glazing and any additional wood is delivered in separate, clearly labelled packages.
