Built using Tongue & Groove panels, the Harper has a secure and stable structure which is built to last. The interlocking Tongue and Grooves form strong panels, which create a strong structural strength.
The Harper has been designed with front Georgian bar windows with styrene glazing. The windows and doors allow lots of natural light to enter the building, which is great for spending long days inside relaxing.
Durable Single SAN glazing is included as standard. SAN is used for its UV properties, and the tougher finish avoids breakages.
The Harper features a tall Apex roof offering plenty of headroom. With 4”9” eaves head height, the Harper ensures convenience and mobility whilst inside the summerhouse and makes it feel fresh and airy.
The 1.1m (3 ½ ft) wide opening double doors ensure ease of access in and out of the summerhouse and, on a summer's day, can be left open to allow the warm summer breeze inside.
The long windows of Harper provide natural lighting inside the summerhouse and enable you with fantastic views of your garden and create a spacious feel to the whole summerhouse.

Spray Treated: Our sheds and summerhouses get a beautiful golden brown spray treatment before leaving the factory in order to preserve the quality of the wood up until the delivery. As this only lasts through the transit stage, we do advise treating the wood after installation to protect and preserve it, as well as annual maintenance.
Pressure Treated: For an extra level of protection, you can opt for a pressure treated building which is an effective way of keeping the wood long lasting. This is an extra step in the manufacturing process where the wood is treated in a pressurised tank. Chemical preservatives are forced deep into the wood’s fibres to resist rot, decay and termites. When you upgrade to Pressure Treatment, the guarantee is extended from 10 to 15 years.
With the Harper an 11mm tongue and groove floor and roof is included but you can upgrade to 19mm to suit more intensive use.
Roof:
11mm: Our standard roof option, this interlocking roof provides a reliable covering for any building. The Tongue and Groove not only gives your building a stronger roof but also a premium look and feel.
Floor:
11mm: Our Standard flooring option which provides a durable, solid foundation and underfoot to the building. The 11mm option is ideal for less demanding and frequent usage, suitable for lighter intensity purposes like summer houses and other living spaces containing light furniture. The 11mm tongue and groove timber makes this a solid yet suitable, economical option.
19mm: A premium floor is the perfect choice for higher intensity usage. The construction uses thick 19mm tongue and groove timber, which gives you not only the strength, but better insulation against the cold weather. This specific floor is the perfect option if you’re planning on using the building as an everyday use office, gym or games room with heavy objects.
All garden buildings should be assembled on a firm and level base. A base will ensure your building has a solid, long-lasting and well-drained foundation.
If you want to build your own base, from a sturdy material such as concrete or flagstones, you can find minimum dimensions for each size of this building in the tech specs. In order to protect your building from moisture, you should leave a 2ft gap around the exterior of your building, so remember to take this into consideration when laying any sort of base.
Our robust and simple to use EcoBase provides you with a firm, long-lasting foundation with suitable drainage for your garden building. It is quick and easy to install through the use of snap connectors that link the grids to each other.
If your building is shorter than 2.5m you should not require planning permission, (unless it’s more than 50% of your garden or will be placed in your front garden). Planning permission rules can vary by area so we would strongly recommend checking your local council rules before purchasing a garden building from us.
We do not offer an installation service on any of our buildings, as they are designed to be easy and simple to assemble. Using the digital assembly instructions included in your order confirmation and with a team of at least 2 people, the handy pre assembled panels mean you will have your BillyOh building up in no time!
Our sheds and summerhouse are delivered in easy to assemble panels. For your convenience the panels are no wider than 4ft so they can be easily maneuverable and fit through a standard doorway. Glazing and any additional wood is delivered in separate, clearly labeled packages.

The Harper is a classic summer house with crossed Georgian style windows and a beautiful apex roof. The tall windows which cover the front of this summerhouse give you excellent access to natural light, creating an open, relaxing environment to work, chill out or play. This garden room comes in multiple sizes, offering you a range of options to suit your garden.
An 11mm tongue and groove floor and roof are included along with green mineral roof felt to complete your building. A 19mm flooring upgrade is available for a more robust construction, fantastic for garden offices and summerhouse bars. Pressure treatment is also available to strengthen your building and increase your BillyOh guarantee to 15 years.
The traditional apex roof offers increased headroom as well as a long-lasting style suitable for any garden space. The windowed front windows with the windowless side walls offer you a range of lighting options within your building, giving you cool shaded areas to relax, keeping you cool during the warmest part of the day but still having space to sit in direct sunlight.
The smallest 4x8 summerhouse offers you a great small, secure seating area with great access to natural light. This could fit perfectly onto a patio space or at the bottom of a garden giving you great space to sit no matter the weather. The larger sizes offer more space for bigger furniture sets which can be great for hosting or a family room.
