The Cove Multiroom has 2 distinct rooms and a beautiful canopy area.
The main room when you enter the building is a spacious 3.0m deep and 3.3m wide, giving you plenty of room for a summerhouse, outdoor home office or entertainment space.
Stepping through the boarded door and interior wall, you will find a 4.5m deep by 2.1m wide side room, with plenty of room for an office space, storage or any other use you can think of!
Lastly you have the beautiful outdoor canopy space which is 1.6m deep and 3.5m wide - plenty of room for entertaining with drinks or dining al-fresco in the warmer months.
Untreated: Our log boards are delivered to you as untreated. Not only does this provide you with a lodge appearance, but allows you to decide the treatment type and colour which suits your tastes. You will need to treat this annually and after assembly to protect your wood against rot or decay.
Pressure Treated: For a more protected building, you can opt for a pressure treated building which is an effective way of keeping the building long lasting. This is an extra step in the construction process where the wood is treated in a pressurised tank. Chemical preservatives are forced deep into the wood’s fibres to resist rot, decay and termites. When you upgrade to Pressure Treatment, the guarantee is extended from 10 to 15 years.
We offer a range of roofing and flooring options, so depending on how you’re going to use your log cabin, you can choose the better option for you.
Roof:
11mm T&G: Our standard roof option, this interlocking roof provides a reliable covering for any building. The Tongue and Groove not only gives your building a stronger roof but more premium look and feel.
19mm: Heavy-duty and long-lasting, this roof will provide you with extra insulation for those colder months of the year.
Floor:
11mm: Our Standard flooring option which provides a durable and provides a solid foundation and underfoot to the building. The 11mm option is ideal for less demanding and frequent usage, suitable for lighter intensity purposes like summer houses and other living spaces containing light furniture. The 11mm tongue and groove timber makes this a solid yet suitable, economic option.
19mm: A premium floor is the perfect choice for higher intensity usage. The construction uses thick 19mm tongue and groove timber, which gives you not only the strength, but better insulation against the cold weather. This specific floor is the perfect option if you’re planning on using the building as an everyday use office, gym or games room with heavy objects.
Single Glazing: Crafted from shatter-resistant plastic (SAN) and suitable for seasonal use. SAN is used for its UV properties and the tougher finish avoids breakages, when compared to the properties of glass shattering. Single glazing is the perfect choice for seasonal buildings such as summerhouses and sheds providing plenty of natural light into the building.
Double Glazing: Created from toughened glass, the double glazing is the ideal option for a building which is used all year round. The extra thickness will provide better insulation and keep your building warmer in those colder months of the year.
All garden buildings should be assembled on a firm and level base. A base will ensure your building has a solid, long-lasting and well-drained foundation.
If you want to build your own base, from a sturdy material such as concrete or flagstones, you can find minimum dimensions for each size of this building in the tech specs. In order to protect your building from moisture, you should leave a 2ft gap around the exterior of your building, so remember to take this into consideration when laying any sort of base.
We understand the need to secure your building, especially with larger Cabins. That’s why with every purchase of the Cove Multiroom we have included a secure door handle with a 5 lever locking system for the best security.
Alongside this you have our thickest, heavy duty 44mm wall logs and each window has a Lockable Casement Fastener to ensure your cabin is secure all around.
The Cove Multiroom is excellent for anyone looking for a garden room with the ultimate versatility. Not only does this garden building have two areas, but it also contains an internal wall with its own single boarded door to separate these spaces and help to minimise the noise between rooms. This large cabin is fantastic for housing a home office in the smaller of the two rooms with space for desks, office chairs, and storage. This room has three large opening windows surrounding the area, giving you natural light and fresh air great for working, creative projects or play spaces.
The larger main garden room has a wide, glazed double door offering excellent access to the space and complementing the two opening windows situated on the front and side of the building. This central area is a great hosting space with room for furniture or even one of our nightjar garden bars. The main area’s entrance is covered by a beautiful canopy, offering you a shaded area for outdoor seating great for alfredo dining and increasing your hosting space. The cove is a large build that works great as a garden hub with room for all the necessary uses and storage while still being a modern, stylish building.
The Cove Multiroom is constructed from durable 44mm interlocking boards, which can be pressure treated to increase its strength further and also increase your guarantee to 15 years. This large wooden garden room also comes with 11mm tongue and groove flooring and roofing included as standard, which can be upgraded to 19mm for more intensive uses such as heavy furniture. The 44mm walls included with the building work well during colder months helping to keep in the heat. To improve your building’s insulation, you can upgrade the windows and doors to double glazing.
Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN) glazing is a high-strength rigid plastic glazing that’s UV-stable and shatter resistant. Aesthetically pleasing and safe to handle it comes at an attractive price point.
Toughened, double-glazed glass may be available as an upgrade. Features of toughened glass include added strength versus regular glass and double-glazing with a space between panes to reduce heat transfer.
Log cabins are delivered via kerbside delivery as stacks of pre-assembled panels that require fitting together. All panels are designed to be smaller enough to fit down side entrances and even for transport through houses.
